my creative space
It's true what they say. Once you pick up crochet, it's hard to stop. I used to watch my sister in law Ash crochet and think "how can she do that!!?" It just looked way to complicated. Ash even taught me how to make a granny square once, and I thought I had it, but then she went home and so did my crocheting skills! Determined to give it another go before our holiday (I wanted to take something crafty away with me that didn't need much equipment) I used Pip Lincolne's tutorial vids on her blog meetmeatmikes and after a bit of trial and error something just went CLICK. And now I get it.
And now I can't stop.
I think I'm just going to keep churning these out until I have enough for a blanket.
Off to do another square now...see you!

Hi Beautiful and colourful granny squares! Me too, I've picked up my crochet hooks again and I'm hoping I can resurrect my basic crochet skill.
ReplyDeleteHave fun! Ning : )
Maybe you'll have time some day to show me! Knitting I can do...crochet is a different story. xo
