Goodness.
I have a lot on these next few days...in a few hours I will be proudly heading off to Coleman Jnr's final assembly of the school year, and celebrating his first year of prep, a big deal for us! I'll be singing Christmas carols with some friends at
I enjoy all of this, I really do, but I'm still disappointed that I've allowed these last few sacred days of the advent season get crazy and busy, as I was hoping for calm and quiet. I've still got a lot to learn.
I have so many things I'd love to post about. More easy peasy recipes! More Christmas cheeriness and crafts! Some thoughts on what a Southern Hemisphere Christmas means to me....but alas, I am choosing to switch off the screen these next few days and focus on family (and getting quite a bit done!!)
I thought I’d leave you with my favourite ever singer and actress Judy Garland singing the most beautiful song "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" in one my all time favourite movies, "Meet me in St Louis" (1944). I hope you enjoy it as much as I do, and I look forward to catching up with you all after Boxing Day!!
peace,
Mezz
xx
Merry Christmas to you too! I am also so very busy and was feeling very overwelmed and tired as im still not done with everything but i relaised i have a bubba i care for everyday, and thats why things take longer. And same for you, two kids and general living, its normal to still be busy! Look forward to your future posts! xxx

I know exactly what you mean. I also love it all and TRY to pace myself! At the moment I feel as if it's all under control, but have managed to slot in an extra thing (people here for lunch tomorrow who'd otherwise be on their own). Last visit to the local shops shortly for just a couple of little things.....then lots of wrapping and some cooking (I'll pray over my oven...still a bit hit and miss!). Thanks for your blog. I've enjoyed it immensely. xo
